The cottage was amazing, from the welcome hamper and scones to the fabulous decor and outstanding furnishings. Spent daytimes in the bright kitchen diner and evenings in the snug, cosy front room. All topped off with fizz in the hot tub. Truly the most luxurious place to celebrate our Silver Wedding, sorry we had to leave.

Had the most perfect stay for my husbands 60th Birthday , the house had everything and more plus the hamper and scones were such a lovely touch
Georgina
This cottage has exceeded all expectations even though we knew we were booking luxury. The quality and comfort of the furnishings, blankets for use on the garden seats, wine coolers, fondue set. And beds so comfortable and welcoming after a day out in the dales. The area is stunning. Literally just stop and breathe as you take it all in, and plenty of sedentary and active pastimes to please all. I could not have asked for more. Indeed I could not have imagined it being this perfect.
Pauline
Beautiful house, well equipped, relaxing environment in which to enjoy family time together. The younger members of the family were in the hot tub every evening. We took some walks straight from the front door. just a few minutes up to the Leyburn Shawl, and stunning views of Penn Hill. Even the empty train past the garden twice in the week for us.
David
Nice comfortable house with good amenities. You need a car as there is not much within easy walking distance.
Ian
Station House enjoys a great location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and lies close enough to Leyburn for all those holiday essentials. Campbells in Leyburn and the Wensleydale Brewery are recommended. Station House stands out from the usual holiday lets with the hand of an interior designer being obvious from first opening the front door. The p roperty also benefits from a lovely outdoor area complete with hot tub. Overall a very comfortable property perfect for both relaxing or exploring.
Claire
Beautiful, high quality property in a gorgeous countryside location. We stayed for 3 nights and were very impressed - underfloor heating in kitchen was great, and all the extras; from robes and slippers, extra towels for the hot tub, luxury toiletries, ice-maker, fairy lights outside, to plastic champagne glasses for hot tub. The hamper on arrival was a lovely surprise too! The Three Horseshoes pub in the village (Wensley; about 20 mins walk) do a great Sunday dinner too. Highly recommend!
Diane
A really beautiful home in a stunning location - everything we hoped it would be. Lots of walks from the door and lovely places to visit with the car. Highly recommended.
Peter
Our second year in a row at Station House. A super property, nicely secluded and peaceful yet easy to reach the local town and deeper into the Dales. Well appointed with a lovely interior design. Internet, and therefore tv reception, was quite poor. However speaking to one of the neighbours I'm given to understand this is not an issue with Station House per se, but the area as a whole.
Joan
The cottage is beautiful, well equipped and tastefully decorated. It is really cozy and warm. We loved every moment.
Jackie
This was our 4th stay at Station House so I think that speaks volumes. Everything is just as beautiful as it was on our first stay. I can honestly say there was nothing we needed that wasnt there. Such attention to detail and the beds and bedding are soooo comfortable. Ive no doubt we will be back.
Brenda
A beautiful cottage, finished to a high standard. We spent New Year there and it was perfect, everything you could possibly need. While we didn't take advantage of the garden because of the time of year this is an idyllic setting and to spen time there in the summer would be lovely.
Andrew
A superb cottage in a great location for walks and exploring the Dales. Hot tub after a walk in the frost was amazing. We stayed with family last year and with friends this time and had a fantastic holiday on each occasion. Highly recommended and the online description is 100% accurate.
David
Another fabulous stay at Station House. We have been 3 times which says it all.
Janet
A wonderful weekend with friends for a 70th birthday. The accommodation catered for all our needs with the added bonus a the dressing gowns and slippers, a good supply of towels including one for the hot tub, not only a beautiful hamper but a supply of water/milk/orange juice and butter in the fridge. The ladies loved the small gift bags with Elemi s goodies. Set in peaceful surroundings with plenty of walks from the door step then back to base to enjoy the hot tub. A perfect weekend.
Kirsty
Amazing luxury property and location.Lots to see and do in the nearby area.
Kerry
Lovely area. House was beautiful
Richard
This is a superb cottage furnished and decorated to a high spec and supplied with everything one is likely to need for a very comfortable stay. The cleaning and maintenance team clearly do a grand job too! We would highly recommend.

Station House represents luxury accommodation. Everything about it is fantastic and we would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. At the end of our week, we simply did not want to leave.
Jacqui
An excellent location for exploring more of this delightful part of the country.
Jane
Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Really enjoyed ourselves. Would book again.
Susan
Station House is luxurious indeed. You can see the eye of a designer in every feature. The open plan kitchen/diner/lounge is the star if the show for us- we spend most time in there. Lots of attention to detail. Well situated for trips out and about. Highly recommend it.
Tricia
This is a fabulous place to spend your holiday. Everything about it is fist class. This was our 2 no visit and we will be sure to go again. Attention to detail is second to none and was very clean and well presented. Lots of little extras that make you feel very welcome.
Catherine
Second visit. Absolutely beautiful cottage with no expense spared in the facilities and furnishings. Cant recommend it enough.
Angela
Another wonderful weekend in luxurious surroundings-it did our souls good !
Simon
We had a perfect stay at Station House. The level of detail is second to none, we wanted for nothing during our stay. The location was ideal to get away from it all, yet have everything you need within easy reach. We will be back.
